We're awarded for our social impact
We've become one of the first organisations in the country to scoop a prestigious award for social value!
The Social Value Quality Mark is awarded to organisations which show an understanding of their impact, and implement ways of working that secure long-term sustainability and benefit the wider community.
Judges awarded us, and said the honour was a testament to our commitment to measuring and reporting social value.
In particular, judges commented on the work of our resident inspectors, which sees tenant-led reviews of the business contributing to change within Knightstone.
We've acted on three quarters of the 80 recommendations made by residents, as part of our social value work.
Speaking on the award, Jane Edmonds from Knightstone said: “We're very proud to receive the Social Value Quality Mark – it’s a fantastic endorsement for our social value and the hard work of our dedicated staff who go the extra mile every single day.
“We’re delighted to become one of the first organisations in the country and the first within our sector to be recognised with this award. It also demonstrates how we’re revolutionising the way we work, by inviting customers to lead the change within Knightstone.
“We strive to create real social value and impact – giving our residents and those we work with the knowledge, understanding and ability to make social change.
“This award also recognises our continuing investment in people and their communities – creating better futures for those living in the West of England and Somerset.”
