At LiveWest we are celebrating Black History Month and its' crucial role in exploring black cultures and history.
The awareness month is about more than revisiting history, it's also about taking ownership of the stories which define black culture, its significant contributions and identity for individuals and communities.
How are we celebrating?
As part of our celebrations, we will be deep diving into different cultures and sharing the latest news from our Race, Ethnicity and Equality Network (REEN) Group as they share what Black History Month means to them.
Across LiveWest, our REEN Group will be sharing recipes to try in our office hubs, as well as sharing black history books, documentaries and films. We are looking forward to learning about, experiencing and celebrating their different cultures.
In support of Black History Month, we have updated our logo across our media channels to represent colours from African and Caribbean cultures.
