Liane Sheppard has been appointed as our new Director of Property Services.
We have recruited Liane to help lead the delivery of our customer-focused housing and property services.
Liane, formerly a civil engineer, has held a number of senior roles across the public and private sector and arrives from Sovereign where she was Operations Director – East and West.
She joined us on 12 April and will have responsibility for the operational delivery of the asset management and customers services strategy through our repairs and maintenance operations.
Liane said: “I’m delighted to be taking up this new role at an important time for LiveWest as we continue to build much-needed homes.
“I am absolutely passionate about social housing and I want to make a real difference for our customers.
“LiveWest has got a great reputation in the sector and it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to influence the culture, and direction for property services.”
During her time at Sovereign, Liane set up their women in trades programme, encouraging more women into property services through taster days, work experience opportunities and apprenticeships.
Liane added: “As a civil engineer I’ve always been passionate about encouraging people into our sector and industry.”
Suzanne Brown, our Executive Director of Operations, said: “The addition of Liane to our existing team with her wide-ranging expertise in social housing maintenance will further strengthen our operational delivery at a time when we are looking to grow our in-house service.
